Bursa chamber of commerce


BTSO is the Bursa chamber of commerce and industry. The main industries here are textile and automotive. Many foreign companies have factories in Bursa, and BTSO has a section devoted to improving ties with Europe and the USA.

Devlet Tiyatrosu

Flag


A modern take on the ubiquitous Turkish flag - it is made out of some shiny shimmering material and was quite impressive reflecting the evening sun.

Illusion


This is not what it looks like... the door and windows of this little cottage are just painted. I think it is a gas distribution station or something like that. Anyway, it's a very nice way to disguise what would otherwise be an ugly concrete box.

Town Hall


The town hall is in a historical building in the centre of town and is also the home of the Local Agenda 21 programme.

Music House


This lovely restored building is a library of music! Inside there are all kinds of books about music, from encyclopedias to manuscripts. There is also a listening room where you can listen from their collection of CDs.
