First capital of the Ottoman Empire: home of peaches, kebabs, chestnuts and textiles
The Apolyont Han is right next to the Zafer Plaza and has just been renovated. A lot of small shops and restaurants have opened inside.
Looks like a nice homely place to shop and eat I bet the restaurants are amazing.
Nice display of that antique carriage. Is that a local artifact?
The carriage belonged to a local Aga (kind of landowner) from the 1800s, according to its placard. And yes, the restaurants are delicious!
