First capital of the Ottoman Empire: home of peaches, kebabs, chestnuts and textiles
Inside the Carrefour supermarket.
Other than the signs it looks like I would feel as if I was in my local market if I was to visit. Thanks for visiting my blog.
It does look very much like one of ours too! Are those the shopping carts lined up at the bottom of the photo?
I guess a supermarket is a supermarket anyplace in the world.
Thanks all for visiting! It seems strange that supermarkets can look the same in countries which are so far. Carrefour is a French company so I suppose it is to be expected. Tanya - yes they are the shopping carts. They are chained together and you have to put a 1YTL coin (just less than $1) deposit to take one.
