This monument is opposite the Karagöz museum. You can see the beautiful spring tulips by the side of the monument. Tulip is a very popular flower in Turkey.

I am pleased that you looked further! Although there is quite a grisly tale about origins of the Karagöz puppets (we explained in an earlier post...)
How do I get to the Karagöz Art House from Bursa city centre? I would like to catch the puppet show there. Btw, when exactly is the Karagöz Festival this year?
